Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026 · Effective: July 17, 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Cooperanth Consulting LLC. We've kept them as short and readable as we can, but they are binding — please read them.
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing, or using REKH, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use REKH. If you're using REKH on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to bind that organisation.
2. What REKH is
REKH is a web browser with built-in privacy protections (ad and tracker blocking, click-tracking protection, proxy/VPN support), an encrypted local vault, and optional AI features. It is provided by Cooperanth Consulting LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
3. Your licence to use REKH
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use REKH on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use, subject to these terms. Portions of REKH are open source and are additionally governed by their applicable open-source licences, which take precedence for that code. You may not remove our branding, misrepresent the software's origin, or distribute a modified version as if it were official REKH.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you do with REKH. You agree not to use it to:
- Break the law, infringe others' rights, or facilitate harm.
- Access systems or data you're not authorised to access.
- Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or protections of any service.
- Distribute malware, conduct fraud, or harass others.
- Violate the terms of any third-party service you reach through REKH (including AI providers and VPNs).
REKH can reach the entire web. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content you choose to visit.
5. AI features
REKH's assistant sends your prompt and page content to an AI provider that you select and configure. Important things to understand:
- AI output can be wrong. Models make mistakes, invent facts, and misread pages. Do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial, or other consequential decisions without verifying it independently.
- You are responsible for what you send to the AI and for how you use what it returns.
- Don't put secrets in the Knowledge Base — it is sent to your AI provider as context. Use the Vault for secrets.
- Your chosen AI provider's terms and privacy policy apply to what you send them.
6. Third-party services and content
REKH lets you connect third-party services (AI providers, VPN/proxy providers, reverse-image and shopping search). Those services are operated by others, under their own terms and prices. We don't control them, we're not responsible for them, and connecting them is your choice. Links and results shown in REKH are not endorsements.
7. The Vault
The Vault encrypts your data with a key derived from your master password. We never receive your master password and cannot reset it or recover your data. If you forget it, the contents are permanently lost. You are responsible for remembering it and for keeping your own backups. This is a deliberate security property, not a defect.
8. REKH AI+ subscriptions
REKH AI+ is an optional paid service that runs AI requests through our infrastructure so you don't need your own API key.
- Plans and limits. Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance. When you reach it, AI+ requests stop until the period resets or you upgrade. Limits exist to keep the service sustainable.
- Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Where you buy through an app store, that store's billing, refund, and cancellation rules apply. Where you buy from us directly, you can cancel any time and your plan runs until the end of the paid period.
- Fair use. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to resell access, or use it in ways that violate the upstream provider's policies.
- Changes. We may change plans, prices, or limits with reasonable notice. Price changes don't apply to a period you've already paid for.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do and don't collect. In short: your browsing, your vault, and your Knowledge Base stay on your device.
10. Disclaimers
REKH is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that REKH will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat, that blocking will catch every tracker, or that a VPN or privacy feature will make you anonymous. Privacy tools reduce risk; they do not eliminate it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cooperanth Consulting LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of REKH. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to REKH will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
12. Termination
You can stop using REKH at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate a REKH AI+ account that breaches these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (licence restrictions, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where the law of your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings locally.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use REKH after that means you accept the new terms.
